Our Playgroup

We are a small and friendly, community based playgroup with an excellent reputation. We provide high quality care and education for pre-school children from two and a half to five years old in a fun, stimulating and caring environment. Our staff are friendly, dedicated and highly qualified. The playgroup has a good Ofsted record.

Our Toddler Group

We also run a friendly and informal parent and toddler group every Monday from 1:30pm to 3:00pm (term-times only).

Our Principles

• To provide a safe and caring environment where children can learn through exploration and play.
• To encourage children to be independent and build and maintain good self-esteem.
• To encourage a partnership with parents to support and enhance the development of the children.
• To provide a curriculum which promotes the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our Session Times & Fees

• Monday - Friday: 09:00am to 12:00 noon (term-times only)
• £5.00 per three hour session with free government funding available for children aged 3+
• £6.50 / session for funding-eligible children not using their funding at our setting
• Full and part-time places available
• In addition, we offer two settling-in sessions free of charge

We are a not-for-profit organisation aiming to help families by keeping session costs low until government funding becomes available.  To maintain these low session rates we ask for a subs contribution (for drinks, snacks and materials) of £2 per child per term for unfunded children, and £5 per child per term for funded children.
